Am i the only one who hasn't sold anything on here?

I’ve been on this platform for a little over a month. I imported my items from my Top Rated eBay store where I make sales every day. I haven’t made one sale since joining Bonanza. Does anyone else have this problem? If you are making sales do you have any advice?

Thanks.

Haha that’s how it’s feeling. Luckily our sites do well and this one has no monthly fees.

I have been on Bonanza for 7 months, and I’ve even bumped up the advertising % to 30% just to see what happens. Nothing I too am a top rated seller on ebay, and I have a store on etsy, Poshmark, and depop. This is by far the worst sales I’ve ever had. Now, around Christmas,I had a few sales. But since December….., I haven’t sold a thing. I pretty much just use bonanza to cross post between Etsy and ebay. It’s unfortunate because their concept is great.

I can totally agree with that comment to an extent. My booth is part of an actual retail site. We’ve existed for decades. All of our other online spots (eBay, Etsy, Facebook Marketplace, and main site) don’t have any problem making sales. We advertise for all platforms we’re on. Bonanza zero sales.

I rarely ever make a sale on any selling site. Facebook Marketplace is the best for me. I think it’s because people are already logged in and they just hop over to Marketplace to see stuff. OR, and we can thank tracking for this even though most people complain about it, Marketplace items may appear on one’s profile sidebar related to recent online searches.
I’ve only made a few small sales here on Bozo. There’s no up-front fee for using this platform, so I’m OK with it.
E-Bay’s become power-hungry and incompetent, trying to keep up with Amazon~~which is kicking E-Bay’s tushy in sales and usage. Sellers are being booted and restricted right and left though no fault of their own.
And I keep pointing this out, but it seems no one wants to [URL removed] The online pie is being sliced so thin now~~with all the sites and platforms geared for selling~~that no one person OR site, for that matter, can do as well as any site 15 years ago.
Every day, more and more platforms and sellers are joining the online crowd. In other words, don’t quit your day job.
The only way I see anyone even making a little pocket change from online sales is to stick to one tight ‘theme’ in their booth. And, more succinctly, be a retailer. Going through the listing process for a one-of isn’t worth it, considering it probably won’t sell . . . .ever.
I had moderate success with this when I was selling on Etsy. I realized what was going on in the online world and switched to reselling vintage craft supplies. On Etsy, the prob with selling craft supplies is the site is geared for the DIYers. ANd the DIYers are trying to get the cheapest price for the most product. I’d say about 5 times I got scammed, or the buyer TRIED to scam me~~saying the item smelled like vinegar or having the item rerouted at the post and claiming they never got it.
So this long drawn-out essay is to say that every platform is the [URL removed] It’s not like it use to be. And mostly because there’s too much competition in the online world.
AND each platform has it’s own pitfalls.
I sell on a site called Vinted. This is a clothing-only site. I should say I TRY to sell on a site called Vinted. But sales there are super-slow too. From what I hear, it use to be a site where a lot of stuff would sell within minutes. But there was a greedy policy change and now everyone’s saying that their items just sit, rarely having a sale. SO sometimes it’s the practice that is the prob.
For Bonanza, I think the major players are already out [URL removed] E-Bay and Amazon. And trying to break that barrier is tough. No one but maybe a few Bozoers think to shop here first, if at all.
NOW aren’t you sorry you asked?

No, I’m sorry you answered. To clarify we make sales everyday on every other platform we’re on, eBay, Etsy, Facebook Marketplace, and our main site. So I found it odd to get zero sales here.

I must say, things have been pretty fry for me too, on etsy and ebay! Just starting here so I do hope things pick up for everyone here!!! :)

I’ve been here for about 5 years and used to get on average 1-2 sales per day. For some reason it completely dropped off at the beginning of the year and now I only get about 1 sale every 1.5 weeks. This coming from a Platinum member with almost 400 listings.
Ebay…. still supports me full time. Something seems to have changed here. I’ll be downgrading and not paying much attention to Bonanza anymore which is real unfortunate because I need another alternative to Ebay just in case.

Try Mercari Im selling really well on there. I got rid of my Bonanza booth and moved everything there.

I’ve only had one sale, though my views are getting higher. Lately, I have been putting notes into the ebay packages I send out that I also sale here at a reduced rate.
