Another option that is emerging with success is Instagram.

Twitter and Pinterest. Never had luck with Facebook. I get views from Twitter and Pinterest, but I don’t think I’ve ever made a sale from either.

Hello [URL removed]

I promote through Pinterest- [URL removed] ,
Twitter- [URL removed] ,
Facebook Profile- [URL removed] ,
Facebook Business Page- [URL removed] ,
Google+- [URL removed]

At Linkedin I only add links and promote in my profile in the summary section where I post images, not in posts- [URL removed]

At flickr I only add a discreet link or two on some images that I post- [URL removed]

I also promote my shops in signature lines when I post to creative forums/communities across the Net. I read closely on sites to see if it is banned though. Generally it is allowed in signatures if not in community posts.

Used to be on Wanelo, but left to focus on Pinterest. Left Twitter 2 years ago but came back. Not excited about Twitter but use mostly for linked auto posts. I also love Ning sites and looking for another one to join. Used to be at Craftsu- [URL removed] , but not enough participation. Was at CreatingTheCraftyLife, but too much shabby chic for me but very active site- [URL removed]

Hope this helps and good luck,
Sandi

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
