I have an old John Deere Folding Knife with three blades, it looks like a bone handle, it has an engraved jumping deer on the outside, the main blade has Handmade engraved on it, as well as Pakistan and Surgical Steel. I can’t find another knife with all the same characteristics anywhere on the internet. Does anyone have any idea about how much (ball park) it may be worth and any info about it?
Thanks :)
Tracey
P.S- I put 1970 to now, but I really have no idea when it was made.

[URL removed] will take you to a history of their logo. I saw it being discussed of all places on that Pickers show on PBS very recently, they had found a tin sign and were telling a bit about the changes in the design. Have fun, maybe you can figure it out, at least how old it might be.

I would date it within the last 16 years that was when John Deere started slapping their logo on a bunch of stuff that did not have an engine in them. Unless it was a dealer promotional…You can maybe contact the local dealer and see if they remember ever making or having that promotional product for giving away… You know one knife with every $150,000 combine.

Thanks Cana- but this is definitely old. The deer is just in a small circle and looks to be like an outline of the deer- there is no name under the small decal. I’ll take some pics and list them. It may not be a John Deere, but the small deer looks like an old John Deere logo. I’ll have to get the pics up- thanks for your time!
Thank you so much! I’ll check it out :) I love the pickers ;)
