Would you use moneypak to make online purchases?

I ran across this website called MoneyPak. After reading what was there, I really wondered would it make it easier for someone to pay for their on line purchase(s) without using their credit card?

Momspennies is right on. MoneyPak or GreenDot (as it’s also called) is for adding money to your Paypal account if you don’t, for whatever reason, want to transfer it in from your checking account. Wal-mart is the best place to buy one. There is a $4.00 fee, there are max balances you can add on the card, pull up “moneypak” or Greendot in Paypal and you’ll be bounced to their explainatory page as the limits may have changed. I think its $1000.00 as the highest and there’s a limit on time span, seems like you can only do so much total in one month to paypal, like $2000.00, but I forget how much.

You buy (load) the card at Wal-mart, the checker gives you a recipt. Why she gives you the card I don’t know as you do nothing with it. You take the receipt, go home & pull up Paypal. Then you click on “Add funds” and there will be a choice for the MoneyPak/Green Dot card. You put in the numbers listed on the wal-Mart RECEIPT. It’ll pop up your amount, hit transfer and you’re done. You now have immediate money you can use in Paypal. Pretty swift for only a $4.00 fee.

[URL removed] if you lose the RECEIPT from Walmart, you are OUT OF LUCK. Can’t be replaced. Can’t file for a refund, it’s the same as CASH! YOu lose it, you LOSE.

Walmart can load up to $1000.00 on the card, other place (grocery stores) also have it, but their limits are at $500.00 per time. Don’t know why…

but very safe and easy to use. Very FAST. Give Wal-Mart the money, go home and spend on Paypal.

I believe this is the same card that Walgreens has for adding money into your PayPal account. It’s just like having a pre-paid debit card or credit line CC. I wouldn’t have a problem using it if I didn’t have another way to get my money into PayPal so I could make purchases.

They are also good for loading certain Debit Cards. They are a Wal Mart item, I believe?!? There are quite a few different load type credit/debit cards you can use them for. Real handy for people who do not want the risk of a real credit card. They also let you pre purchase loads to save on the $4.95 fee you pay to put money on it.

We use them all the time. We live on a very tight budget since my hubby lost his job nearly a year ago. No bounced check fees, no interest, no accidental overspending into the bill budget.

EVERY ONE PLEASE READ THIS!!!!!!!

I

always thought that “old” mixes that were past their
expiration date would just not rise/bake correctly.
This is scary! Note that it’s confirmed on
Snopes.

Before
my surgery I bought quite a few Duncan Hines cakes mixes
that were on sale. A couple of months ago I
decide to use one, I checked the expiration date
and found it past, all the boxes were passed the
expiration date. I phoned Duncan Hinds to ask
if the one that was only two months passed if it was
OK. She told me in no uncertain words to throw
them all out, she even said to open the boxes and throw
the mix in the garbage, just in case someone picked it
up and used
it

A
student at HBHS (high school) had pancakes this week and it
almost became fatal. His Mom (registered nurse) made him
pancakes, dropped him off at school and headed to play tennis.
She never takes her cell phone on the court but did this time
and her son called to say he was having trouble breathing She
told him to go to the nurse immediately and proceeded to call
school and alert the nurse. The nurse called the paramedics
and they were there in 3 minutes and worked on the boy all the
way to the hospital. He came so close to dying. Evidently this
is more common then I ever knew. Check the expiration dates on
packages like pancakes and cake mixes that have yeast which
over time develop spores. Apparently, the mold that forms in
old mixes can be toxic! Throw
away ALL OUTDATED pancake
mix, brownie mixes, Bisquick, cake & cookie mixes, etc.,
you have in your home.

P.S. Tell this to
your children, grandchildren, nephews, nieces and anyone else
who keeps these types of mixes in the
cupboard.
