I am looking for info on a 1976 hamilton mint bicentennial medial I have it is covered in 24 k gold, I am trying to figure out if this is silver based or another metal?

Sounds like you don’t have the box w/ the papers the coin was originally sold in…you could check out coins like in on feebay to get an idea of pricing…
I have a Bi-medal minted at the Carson City mint—and has the coveted, “CC” mint mark, in a limited production/ individually numbered bronze compostion…[they sold gold, silver bronze and brass versions]. Anyway, it’s been sitting in my booth since last Fall—haven’t had any interest at all! So, I suppose us, Bi-sellers, [geez, I hope that sounded OK!] will have to wait until that demand increases…
