I purchased the Bull Cookie Jar at an local Street Antique Sale and have only found one copy sold online, however, it had very little information posted. I would appreciate any information anyone can give me. i.e. just why are Raymond Waites Items considered collectable or desired. I bought the bull cookie jar because I collect cookie jars and found this to be unique and pretty.

Hello,
Rayomond Waites originally found the company Gear in the 80’s. It has more of an american country feel than Raymond Waites designs. He started Raymond Waites in the mid 90’s. We have carried all of his wallcovering collections as they were patterns that could be very transitional, elegant and appealed to many.
All of his products are licensed through manufacturing partners. Having stocked many of them. many ceramic items were made by a company called Toyo trading. His designs are timeless. He is a talented designer that has been around for a long time and respected by the industry and his peers!
While they are not produced by hand they still have many of the details, hand painted (in china) etc.
Hope this helps!

FWIW, this auction site has it valued at $50-$100 but don’t
offer much info. It is a great looking cookie jar.
