Any glass experts around that can identify this vase

Need help with this, found in grandmas attic while cleaning out. There are no markings on the bottom. Can anyone tell me about this. Thanks in advance.

You have got yourself a beautiful piece there. I love it, which is no surprise since I love glass.

A Fenton book that I have shows that your piece may very well match the one in the book.

Here’s what it says about it word for [URL removed]

Cranberry Opalescent Piece in Coin Dot, 1940s, Flared and Crimped Vase, 8 inches high.

TammiesTreasures definitely got the title right. Ruffled could be in place of the word crimped easily.

Does it measure 8 inches in height? I’m not sure about logos for Fenton (you’ll want to read up on that and you said it does not have one), but the way the book makes it sound it is like this piece would not have been marked with a logo (maybe you could talk to Jack on that. I do not know Jack but MomsPennies does from the sounds of it). The nice thing is that you know this came out of your grandmother’s attic.

Anyways, when I know I’ve got a book piece I like to mention that in the listing, so I’ll give you the name of the book, etc, that it shows it in (I can send you the image from the book if you like, just email me).

Found on page 74 of Warman’s Companion Fenton Glass book by Mark F. Moran, published in 2006 by Krause Publications.

Book value of $125.00+ . (if this is the same one which I believe so).

You’ll want to take into account that this is the internet…still though, depending on the condition I’d stick to your guns plus we’re now talking 7 years later after publication.

Editing to [URL removed] For the link that TammiesTreasures left, the listing says coin dot was still being produced into the 1960s. It’s not certain if this particular piece was being produced still in the 1960s, but the coin dot pattern was definitely being produced into the 1960s. Just thought I would share that.
