These were made by Coro and are signed Vendome. They have round glass discs. I also took a pic in black and white since when any light at all hits then they shine a rainbow of colors. Just wondering if there is a name for this type glass?

Aurora Borealis, or just AB for short. It’s a coating that creates the rainbow of colors when the light shines on it.

Coro made some beautiful jewelry in this style. I have a gorgeous bracelet that I have yet to list because it is so hard for me to photograph it and catch all the colors in their best light!

@moms, you know I got to looking at them real close and they may be AB’s but I’m sort of leaning toward Prism’s. Prism’s show beautiful colors when the light shines on them. These are shaped like round disks. Any opinions on this?

I also believe they are Aurora Borealis. This treatment was developed in the 48 or 49 and was put into production in 1950. So many of the crystal beads from that time on have been treated with the Aurora Borealis coating.
