Using the hinge and clasp, I’ve managed to date it to [phone number removed]‘s (or there-about). Beyond that, I’ve spent hours researching everything from “Goddess Athena” to “Commesso Cameo” to “Antique Gold Tone Brooch” and I can’t find anything remotely like it. Worse yet, all the pictures are starting to look the same. Help!

Art Nouveau Mucha brooch … I search but all I’m pulling up is reproductions. The reproductions aren’t painted, they’re a brass color instead of the gold color on this one, the clasp is different, and on the reproductions the clasp is top to bottom, while mine is side-to-side. Also, the reproduction pieces have a stamp on the back with a date and mine does not.
Where can I find a fair value on this piece? I have no idea what it’s worth. I assume much more than a reproduction piece?

She’s beautiful! Often these pins were made of brass and then covered with gilt/gold. I think TheVintageFlea has answered your questions. Certainly it should be worth much more than a repop! Stunning example of Art Nouveau!
