I am not a collector of glassware type things. Can someone give me information on this relish tray? It measures about 11" across and I assume at one time had a dip bowl for the center. Heavy, nicely made IMO, and you can feel the carved design at bottom, not etched or anything like that. I see no labels or markings. I believe it is vintage since it belonged to my sisters MIL, but not sure if there is anything special about it. Any info. on maker, pattern, era, value is appreciated.

@Froggie- I had described it above as the design being carved in the glass but perhaps “cut” is the proper term.
@Jinxs, thanks! I researched your suggestion and found some that were very close. I am just a bit confused that I found JW Hughes cornflower pattern and one of the images pattern looked like mine in that leaves were positioned opposite each other in the design, but several of the same pieces claiming to be the same pattern, leaves are positioned alternate of each other. I thought a pattern within a maker remained consistent. Also some of the images make it look like there is etching in the pattern and there is none in mine.Is this a simple matter of the the images not providing accurate identification of this pattern?
I found this information on replacement.com searching “cornflower”

I can’t see this well enough in your photo. It appears to be a cover for a ceiling light. These were popular in the 20’s & 30’s.

No, as I said, it is a relish tray plate, I know [URL removed] It has several different divisions for relishes and is just a shallow flat platter. I would just like to know if anyone recognizes the pattern or what type of glassware etc. I can post another picture if anyone thinks it will help but not much more to take in on it. This is pretty much it. There is no hole in the center nor is it domed either, but I agree it may look like a shade in the picture. Thanks

I have an Indiana Glass tray, see the listing and you will see why I mention it as it’s a bit similar. [URL removed]
Yours is considerably older and much better looking. I use these for veggies and dip trays myself. Sorry I can’t help but you could try Replacements.com and search relish tray and see if you can hit on it.

I browsed through the Darkside’s 14 pages of glass divided plates, found this one under glass serving plate ($5), but they also had no information.I know these serving plates were popular in the 1950s, as my mom always put one out for company.
