I’m brand new here so please overlook my ignorance. I posted an item for sale earlier today and it doesn’t appear when I search for it. How long does it take for items to appear when a search is executed?
Thank you in advance for your help!

There is no set time, certainly not an instantaneous process.
A few hours on some days, longer on others, after 24 hrs would be cause for concern.
Google updates can take up to 72 hours after submission..

The first question is, WHERE did you search for it? Here, on Google, or where? Regardless, it does take some time for items to to be indexed and show up in search results anywhere. The closer to “home” you are, the faster the item will make an appearance. Just so you know, I just now did a search here on Bonanzle for “twill tie,” and guess who appeared?
Google? No appearance. But let’s take a look at your [URL removed]

Problem there. The first 250 characters of whatever you write are what Bonz feeds to Google. And among your first characters are the words, “Brand new.” The condition of “new” is not, in Google’s imagination, an allowable description of the item as part of ther title or listing. RATHER, “new” is an attribute of the item; specifically, the item’s condition. Thus, if you have selected “new” for the condition, then Google shall display it as such. Likewise shipping details, discounts and the like should be kept until after you’ve burned the first 250 characters. Searching the help system on Bonz for “attributes” will tell you more about dressing up your listings for Google, but for now, simply be aware that Google wants – and your first 250 characters of text should provide – “just the facts,” ma’am. And indeed, the rest of your listing appears to do so.
Hope that helps.

After an item is listed on Bonanzle, it can take up to 4-6 hours for the item to be properly indexed into the databases before it can be found using the site-wide Bonanzle search feature. However, the item can still be found by users who use the search option within the booth or by browsing that booth.

Hello,
If your referring to bonanzle search – It would normally take a few hours. However, with all the new members coming in it might be taking just a little longer.
Best of Luck!

I would like to know the same thing. I posted mine over two hours ago!

Tweet it and then you can get lots of people looking at your new listings, or include them in a promo with clickable links.
I sometimes do this with a listing as soon as I have it completed.
Other than than, I’ve never tracked the actual minutes that one of my new listings became live viewable on the Bonz……lol….I do have another life.
BTW….new jewelry items in my booth today…be 1st to check them out!!

I have had them take up to 10 hours when listing late in the evening.

I don’t usually add alot of items in my booth but when I do list one, I go to the FiND option and search with few keywords from my titles and they are already showing instantly on the site. Great to read this informative grabber!
