I have a beautiful ruby cut to clear crystal basket. I’m familiar with German and Bohemian cut to clear but am not familiar with Irish glass. The sticker says Celtic Crystal and Hand Cut in Ireland. There is a panel on each side with the Claddagh cut in it.
Any help or info would be appreciated. Pictures are in the process of posting.
I just added the listing.

Do you have [URL removed] Mise Eire (Harp) basket which looks like â–¼ this?

Celtic Crystal is located in the village of Moycullen, only 12 km from Galway city and situated in the heart of the Connemara Gaeltacht (an Irish language speaking area). Built on the site of the ‘old Moycullen railway station’ which once formed part of the famous Clifden line, this family-run business has been pioneering the incorporation of Celtic Designs and Gaelic Motifs, unique range of ornate, exquisitely-crafted Irish Crystal for over 40+ years claiming leadership in this field with a talented and creative team of young Irish artisans continuing this tradition, reproducing symbols of Ireland’s proud culture and history of these exceptional crystal pieces. All pieces of Celtic Crystal are hand- cut using the old traditional methods. Celtic Crystal produces many special, limited edition and one-of-a-kind pieces in both clear and cased crystal. These pieces are signed and dated by the craftsman and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Montrose, I found the site after reading your answer. Wow! That stuff if expensive! This isn’t the Mise Eire(I am Ireland) motif instead its the Claddagh. It is the harp vase. I can see that these are really expensive new but as we all know everything depreciates in value as soon as it walks off the showroom floor! ;) This information will be invaluable in helping me list the item though and I appreciate you helping out! Thanks bunches!

It may be expensive but hand cut crystal always is. It is most likely cut with hand made shaped copper wheels under a water drip, or what is known as copper wheel engraving. You need to cut this slow and with electricity to a foot petal to governor your speed. Flexi-shaft drills aren’t as useful in this application. The technique is over a century old, and very labor intensive. Also that ruby color over the cased clear crystal almost certainly contains some actual real gold in the ‘metal’ the molten glass in the ‘glory hole’ furnace. There is almost no other way to get an intense red. Red ruby crystal is always more expensive because of the gold content.
Maybe a ’pennyweight’* or two per batch I’m guessing.
- a 20th of an ounce
