Can anyone tell me about this pottery

I did some research on it but I am hoping there are some of you who know more about this pottery. It was given to me in the 1980’s by a friend in Southern CA that had a brother who lived on an island in Panama.

Value? Not much but worth more for sentiment only.

Cleaning? Best way to clean these original pieces (vases or figures) is only with water (no cleaning solutions/ no towel) either from the faucet or outside with water hose and let sit dry in outside in a shade while it settles and breaths to avoid getting cracked while still wet (soften).

Can you tell us what it says? I can’t read it except for the Panama because you told me what it says! LOL It’s too small for me to make out. A lovely piece!!!

[URL removed] No worries, I just could not make it out. I hit on zero when I searched too.
