I am trying to find someone that knows about or does doll refurbishing

I have a doll’s head here that was very carefully packed away in a footlocker for over 50 years. She is now about 79 years old. When opened, her body had melted into no-exsistance. I would love to get this head redone and made into a doll for the grand kids to love.

My mother used to make dolls. She poured the procelin parts and sewed cloth bodies. I’ve learned a lot from her and I personally think that the head you show here might not be worth fixing. The eyes need replacing, she needs a wig. She looks like she might have a felt tongue which might also need replacing.

Good luck as you search.

There is a lady on www.rubylane.com, that I believe will repair dolls..I do not know or remember her name, but if you put dolls into the search engine I believe you can find her..she has been on rubylane for over 10 years. Good Luck.
