I picked up two boxes of porcelain dolls that were on display..a total of 4 boxes, and One CoA..I have pictures of each doll, but No real way of figuring out which dolls are valuable and worth my time to sell, and which ones are going to go on a shelf for my daughter..are there any doll experts out there willing to take a look at the image collection and give advice?

Despite the fancy certificates, most dolls like this were originally sold for less than $10 new. I have a couple Christmas ones I bought new at big lots for $5 to use when decorating for the holidays. Someone gave me about a dozen, I saved the clothes and wigs and threw the rest out. However, you may sell some if you group them in twos and threes of similar themes or colors. If your daughter likes a couple, let her have them on her shelf.

I agree with TheHotAttic’s recommendation. Although many modern porcelain dolls were marketed as “collectibles,” most were mass produced in volume so great that they have not even held their original price. When I get these dolls, I typically sell them at flea markets or garage sales for $5. at best. Good luck with them.

I don’t know about just thowing in the towle. I picked up a couple of dolls same kind of thing. Modern but “collectable” paid 11.00 for one and 15.00 for the other. It took me a couple of months but I sold both to different buyers for 100.00 each. Do your homework as they say. See if you can find the company info on google. Maybe an idea of how many of the style was made and what year. Gotta love a good yard sale. :)

Totally in agreement with (debdoll) who helped Montrose in 2010 with a load of doll$. Perhaps $9.99 going down will also be an option. Good luck.
