Can anyone tell me how to tell if a Vera Bradly bag is a replica? I’ve contacted the company and they say they’re made worldwide. Would a bag marked Made In China be authentic? Lost here.
Thanks!

Do you have any pictures of the bag and the labels? All of mine were purchased at an authorized Vera Bradley store and the tags say Made in USA

I don’t have photos yet but the design is a bowler Windsor Navy design and I believe it’s retired.
I heard from another seller that yes, they make them in China too. I know the main office is here in the US.
Thanks for responding. :)
@JohnGermaine, Yes, it’s the exact one. Sorry to take so long answering but I didn’t get notified I had an answer- LOL. That’s the one! Thanks. :)
@MONTROSE Thanks so much! I’ll check that out!

All authentic Vera Bradley handbags have a white and green tag on the inside that say Vera Bradley. You can also tell by the fabric and usually the Vera Bradley fabric is more vibrant than the replicas fabric.

Yes, Most designer handbags are made in China. That is why China has so many fakes. They have the information and nohow to reproduce similar but fake bags. Most Coach handbags are made in China. Even Gucci comes from china and is authentic. So yes it can be very difficult to tell. The bags I sell are from dept stores and outlets. If it is from an outlet I will give a gift receipt with it. If someone needs proof about bags purchased at dept stores I will copy my receipt and email it to them. China will do 10 times the amount of work we do in this country of 1/4 the money. So many companies send there production lines to that country.
