I have a 1947 Parker 51 Fountain Pen. I’m trying to figure out if the bottom portion of the pen, where the nib is located, is removable. I have been able to remove the top part where the plunger or button is, but the bottom part is either stuck or it is not removable. Can someone tell me if this is supposed to unscrew also?? Thanks in advance for any help.

I got my answer from a Pen site and the pen is sold. Thanks anyway.

- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
