I did infact notify this buyer I found the item damaged when it was being readied for shipment. I didn't feel it was right to knowingly ship a damaged product. So, I wrote to her explaining what I found, and that I had issued her a refund. I also suggested she might like other items which were similar to the item she purchased. She never replied back and I assumed she was unhappy about it. However, I only have one booth on Bonanza, and have no other sales platforms on the Internet. I feel shipping a damaged product to be wrong, and merely suggested an alternative item. I did offer a discount for her troubles. I feel bad she feels I tried to be dishonest with her. I definitely was not.
