Inspired by my grandparents, who were in the interior design and import business of European art , antiquities and accessories. At 15, I served an apprenticeship with a fine-arts antique dealer, which instilled in me a love for 18th and 19th century French European styles and started a life long struggle with art hoarding. I have helped build art collections for various international corporations, (dealing original works from ancient to contemporary ) and designed window displays for top fashion boutiques, including Armani, Ferre, Ferragamo and Zenya. Following a five- year stay in Japan, where I studied Asian Arts and Styles and became more interested in exotic and ancient art , I returned to the States to focus on design and retail home furnishings and opened a design showroom in Newport Beach, California. I eventually relocated to West Hollywood, where I have worked with various movie studios, record companies and celebrities on projects big and small. With two generations through our showrooms in the San Francisco mart and Los Angeles locations we amassed a fine collection of classical Pre Columbian and Asian arts and antiquities. After years in the business mostly in the West Los Angeles area I relocated to Portland Oregon and focus mainly on art and antiques sales through online stores .
