NEW Trigger Timekeeping Replacement Battery Clock Movement for Sound Making Clocks This is a brand new trigger movement with all hardware and hands. It's the replacement movement for train, bird, cuckoo, 16 melody and many other sound making clocks. The movement case size is 2-1/8"W x 2-1/8"H x 9/16"D. The hour hand post is 5.5mm in diameter and the minute hand post is 3.63mm. Please make sure your original press-on hands will fit, otherwise we recommend getting a free pair from us when you place the order. The pictures of our hands are shown above. The movement has a plug on the end but it can be cut off and the wires stripped, if needed, to connect to your sound device or speaker. There are 2 different shaft lengths to choose from: Small = Threaded shaft length of 1/4", overall length of 9/16" Medium = Threaded shaft length of 7/16", overall length of 3/4" Please make sure the shaft length will fit through the hole in your clock face and reach the front but not be too long and hit any cover you may have over the dial. Shaft diameter is 5/16" (7.5mm). Rear hand set knob for setting the time. Requires 1 'AA' battery, not included. Each movement has two separate 8" long wires (see picture). You can trim the wires to any length you need with scissors and then connect it to your sound making device or speaker. Includes all mounting hardware.
