This detector features a pet immunity function, which allows it to distinguish between humans' and pets' motion. It can negate signals caused by one or two pets, up to 45 lb each. First Step Processing (FSP) technology analyzes motion, limiting false alarms. For increased reliability, the detector's sensitivity is automatically adjusted based on signal amplitude, polarity, slope, and timing.
