Item description
The Compozitor Publishing House รข? Saint-Petersburg calls your attention to the collection of masterpieces by the Latin American composers. The majority of these works are fulfilled in the samba style. Researchers use to trace sambas ancestry to the African customs, dominating in the Brazil music culture. Brazil gives evidence of numerous spheres, where this dance reigns. Just imagine different kinds of festivals and the well-known folk genre. There are two species รข?? รข??samba of the cabinsรข? and รข??samba cariocaรข?. Time passed and attracted professional composers to this genre. Meanwhile numerous schools were opened; dancers were invited to carnival contests. As the Brazilian and jazz improvisation have been mingled in one genre, there appeared the new trend รข??bossa-novaรข?, glorified by the captivating passionate songs by Antonio Carlos Jobim, whose creation is represented here by the unfading รข??Girl from Ipanemaรข?. Exquisite intonations amalgamated with syncopated rhythms and imbroglio make bossa-nova rather attractive both for many professional musicians and music lovers. The legendary รข??Gallito Cantorรข? by the Paraguayan composer Jose Asuncion Flores (1904รข??1972) is introduced here as the arrangement by the Wonderful musician Ivan Tur, whose memory this collection is dedicated to.Contents:G. de Espinosa.
