An original signed ticket stub "the Last 8 club" at The Lawn Tennis Championships 1997 Wimbledon Ground and Marquee Area held Monday 23rd June. Signature by Natasha Zvereva. Ticket No. 2274.
The 1997 Wimbledon Championships was a tennis tournmanet played on grass courts at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon, London, England. It was the 111th edition of the Wimbledon Championships and was held June 23 to July 6, 1997.
Natasha Zveresa, a former professional tennis player from Belarus, the first major athlete in the Soviet Union to demand publicity that she should be able to keep her tournament earning. Born as Natalya Maratauna Zvereva , she officially changed her name to Natasha Zvereva in 1994.On July 2010, Zvereva was inducted into the international Tennis Hall of Fame alongside Fernandez.
Ticket stub measures 4-3/8" x 4-1/2". In great condition.
