Back of case has two light horizontal scores or endentations across the case about 3" from the top and bottom respectively. Barely noticeable when tilted in the right light. Often confused with 'Black Beauty' a similar horse story filmed many times. Stunning cinamatography of a young boy's adventures with a magnificent BLACK STALLION--from a dramatic shipwreck they are the only survivors on an African shore. They develop a deep affection for one another. When rescued, they begin training for an important championship race under the guidance of horse trainer Mickey Rooney. Such a hit with adults and children alike it was followed by a 1983 sequel, later a TV series (with Rooney), and a prequel in 2003.
