Vintage B W Postcard, Interior of School House New Salem State Park You are bidding on this nice black and white photograph postcard. The postcard is from Interior of School House, New Salem State Park, Lincoln’s New Salem, Ill., and is in good condition, with some light wear at the edges and especially at the corners, and some light stains on the back. The postcard is unused postally, and has a caption on the back that reads; School and Church. Removed a little distance from the village is the school and church. Mentor Graham conducted a “subscription school” and the building was also used as a church. Historic New Salem State Park is located near Petersburg on Highways 97 and 123 about 17 miles northwest of Springfield, Illinois... It is 3.5” by 5.5” and is a nice black and white photo postcard.
