Antique Tole Painted Decorative Tray - and similar items

Offered here is this nice Antique Toleware Decorative Tray. The tray itself is in good condition, with a few small dings, mainly at the edges. The tray is a bit dusty and needs a good cleaning. The tole painting is still very vivid, with only some very small areas of paint loss. There are a lot of scratches to the black finish, mainly around the raised edges, although they are all over the tray. There is some light rust coming through in these areas. The tray has an large floral pattern in the center that is quite beautiful. There are similar scratches and areas of light rust on the back of the tray as well. I am unsure of the age of the tray, but I would date it to the late 19th to early 20th Century. The tray has a hanging apparatus attached to it. It is 17.5" long, 13.5" wide, and has cut out handles, and a cut out pattern around the perimeter. It is a very nice piece of antique toleware, with a lovely floral pattern. It would be a nice addition to any antique collection.
