Item description
10 Seeds Love In A Mist Passionflower Passiflora Foetida
Love-in-a-Mist is a species of passionflower that has delicate, white and purple flowers. The flowers have finely divided bracts that encircle the buds, which give this plant its common name. It is a perennial vine. The vines have bright green, tri-lobed leaves and long tendril, which it uses to climb on fences and other plants. It can also grow along the ground as a sprawling vine. The flowers are followed by globose, bright red or orange fruits. The fruits are edible. It grows well in full sun and part shade. Native to the southwestern United States and tropical America. Hardy in zones 9-11.
Growing Instructions
1. Soak the seeds in water for several hours.
2. Put a mixture of potting soil and sand or perlite into a pot with drainage holes in the base. The soil should be moist and well-drained.
3. Sow the seeds on the soil.
4. Water the seeds. Keep the soil moist but not wet.
5. When the plants are a few inches tall, they can be transplanted.
