You are buying 1 Cornus kousa Dogwood Tree 12-18" in a quart pot. Dogwood trees are widely known for their beauty, and the Kousa variety adds a toughness that makes this species an excellent choice for home landscapes and urban areas. The late spring blooms are probably the trees largest selling point-and its most understood. The white "petals" are not actually petals at all. They are modified leaves called bracts that surround the small greenish yellow flowers. This tree is considered both a flowering tree and an ornamental tree. It is typically planted for its visual interest. This tree grows at a slow to medium rate with height increases of anywhere from 12-24" per year. They grow to a height of 15-25' and a spread of around 25' at maturity. Prefer full sun but also do well in partial shade. Kousa grow in acidic, loamy, moist, sandy, well drained and clay soils.
