LIMITED EDITION - VERY RARE!
An exquisite, finely hand-knotted small vintage silk rug
in excellent unused condition. It depicts "Umbrella Girl",
the classic Hummel figurine. The pile is soft, thick, dense
and velvety in feel. This rare, limited edition piece is clean
and ready to use. Makes a great wall decor.
• Measures approx. 25" x 27" (without the fringed ends)
• Includes tag printed in both Chinese and English which is
marked: Hand made 100% silk pile, made in China
• A fabric label is stitched on the back of the rug (see pix) marked:
M.I. Hummel ORIGINAL HUMMEL SILK CARPET
HANDKNOTTED IN BEIJING, CHINA.
ARS AG, ZUG, SWITZERLAND. LIMITED EDITION: 6/50
• Vintage, unused condition acquired directly from the Goebel
Hummel company as is. The fabric label on the back shows age
wear but the rug is clean and in excellent condition.
