HIGH ALTITUDE NATURALS TM Reseda Absolute oil is extracted from the Reseda Odorata (Mignonette) plant, a native of Egypt and the shores of the Mediterranean. Mignonette has been grown in the Grasse region for perfumery purpose. The Mignonette absolute has an intense, sweet, violet-like and fruity odor with a green nuance, and rich in theaspirones - natural constituents of tobacco aroma derived from carotenoid precursors, and an important aroma constituent of tea essential oil and aroma formator. Today Reseda is mainly used in cosmetics, perfumery, and potpourri. Common names: Mignonette, Egyptian Mignonette, Sweet Reseda, Egyptian Rock Rocket.
