I am offering the 1940s An aluminum milk triangular token "Centreside Dairy Renfrew Ont." on the one side - "Good For One Quart of Milk" on the other side.
Marked on front: "GOOD FOR 1 QUART OF MILK" within a circle.
Marked on back: CENTRESIDE DAIRY RENFREW ONT.
Edge: Smooth edge.
Old aluminum Ontario Canada Dairy Advertising Milkman Milk Good For Token Coin. This milk token is not dated but it is old. It was for use back when Milkmen would deliver milk to your house. You would put the token in an empty milk bottle for payment for the next bottle. By using the tokens, it prevented money from being stolen from you porch or steps.
Measurement: about 1-5/16'' x 1-1/4''.
Weight: 2.2 grams.
Condition: VF (Very Fine), see photos.
The token you see in the photo is the token you get.
As a coin collector I DO NOT clean any of my coins/tokens to preserve the original patina, if you wish to clean the coin/s I will leave it up to you.
