Item description
The picture depicted represents one blade; the pricing is for one blade/package. NOTE: The owner's manual of some woodcutting bandsaw may stipulate that it can cut metal, but woodcutting bandsaws can only cut non-ferrous metals, such as aluminum, brass, copper, etc. Cutting steel could damage your saw, due to the fact that blade speed on most woodcutting bandsaws (average 800 to 3500 fpm) is not slow enough (40 to 200 fpm) for cutting ferrous metals (i.e. steel). Trying to cut steel at woodcutting speeds will ruin the blade due to extreme heat produced. This carbide tipped bandsaw blade is designed with precision triple chip ground teeth for smooth cuts, excellent finish. The new high performance back steel offers excellent fatigue life. This blade will outlasts carbon steel, M42 bi-metal blades when cutting wood, especially tropical hardwoods i.e. ebony, koa or cocabolo, abrasive non-ferrous materials. It is also ideal for cutting alloy steels, tool steels, bearing steel, carbon steels, stainless steels and mold steels. There may be a number of other bandsaws or models that use the same blade lengths as the ones listed: 93-1/2 inch ( 7 ft. 9-1/2 inch, 7' 9-1/2" ) bandsaw blades suit the following models: Craftsman Professional 7? x 12?; Delta 28-203, 28-243, 28-245, 28-283, 28-303; Grizzly G1019, G0580X; G0555X (92-1/2" to 93-1/2"); General International 90-125 M1; Jet JWBS-14DX, JWBS-14CS,JWBS-14OS; JBS14-MW, JBS14-14CS, JBS14-140S; Chicago Industrial 14"; Reliant 14"; Central Machinery 00580-OBME; Elephant 14"; Rikon 10-315; PowerMatic PWBS-14CS; Enlon Brigewood; RIKON 10-320; If in doubt, to determine bandsaw blade length: 1 - Check the owner's manual of your bandsaw machine for specifications - not only the length, but also the range of the width and thickness.2 - If the owner's manual is not available, refer to previous invoices.3 - Cut your old bandsaw blade so that it lies flat on a level surface, and measure its length.
