This is a sterling silver hand created byzantine chainmaille chain. It is a very heavy duty chain that is made from sterling silver 18 gauge, 5/32 jump rings. This has 89.75 grams of sterling silver in it and measures 20 inches with a medium size lobster clasp. An Italian Byzantine chain of similar size is thousands of dollars and they are machine made. This piece has had hundreds of jump rings hand placed together one at a time. Truly one of a kind.
