Farms Factories An industry-building card game for 3-5 players This isn't an Industrial Revolution -- it's an Industrial RACE! Build up your investments in Ranches, Factories, Farms and more, and keep the other players down with sneaky actions like Burglary or Strongarm. Whoever makes the most money (scores the most points) before the deck runs out wins! Quick and easy to learn, but with deeper strategies under the surface, Farms Factories feels equally at home at a family game night event or a board game enthusiasts' meetup. Designed by Sam Browning, with art by Caitlin Hillyard and developed by Amelia and Lillian Browning, Farms Factories is a project almost ten years in the making. Originally conceived as a way to pass the time between rounds of Magic: the Gathering or longer board games like Settlers of Catan, the game proved to be a hit both with the high school board game club and at family reunions, where aunts, uncles, and cousins took a break from gin rummy and poker to try it out. Over the years the game was tweaked and adjusted, sometimes slowly, and sometimes with massive rules overhauls. We recruited our good friend Caitlin Hillyard to help with the art, and she knocked it out of the park with her gorgeous ink and watercolour paintings. As of last October, we can proudly say we are self-published, with the help of a 200%-funded Kickstarter campaign.
