PLEASE NOTE PICTURES...THE GROUND STOPPER DOES HAVE A LARGE CHIP, BUT DOES NOT TAKE AWAY FROM THE OVERALL BEAUTY OF THIS STUNNING PIECE, AS IT IS HIDDEN INSIDE THE BOTTLE WHEN THE STOPPER IS IN PLACE.. Baccarat Perfume Bottles have been produced by the Cristalleries de Baccarat company since the 19th century. (The company was established in France in 1764 and has been producing 30% lead crystal since 1816.) Until the early 1900s their bottles were plain, but beginning in 1911 the company began to make more decorative bottles, inspired by other perfume bottle manufacturers like Lalique, Maurice Depinoix and Julien Viard. They began to produce high quality perfume bottles in romantic styles with Art Nouveau and Ethereral influences. In the 1920s and 1930s they made more Art Deco geometric perfume bottles.Vintage Baccarat Perfume Bottle All Baccarat Bottles made after 1936 have a stamped logo, others have an etched mark, number or a small round paper label. Earlier bottles were unmarked, as this one is. A Wonderful Gift For Your Favorite Collector! This item is a beautiful, very old Baccarat swirl perfume bottle, with precisely matching ground glass stopper. It has no maker's markings, however it is most definitely in the vintage Baccarat style. Both the bottle and the stopper match perfectly and the stopper fits perfectly. I find no noticeable damage to the piece other than the bottom of the stopper is chipped. In my humble opinion it is in excellent vintage condition.... Please check your references and assure yourself that this treasure is worth considerably more than my listing price. Also, it does have a definite wear pattern on the bottom, which proves it's age....most serious collectors demand to see this....and it's pontil mark which is almost impossible to find.
