Item description
A Wayfarer in Central Germany by Malcolm Letts
A Wayfarer in Central Germany
Malcolm Letts
Houghton Mifflin Company, 1931
Illustrated with black and white photographs
236 pages
Ex library with markings and pocket
The binding is in acceptable condition. The pages are tanned and there is scattered foxing. A name is blacked out in front and on the side page ends. The rear end paper map has a tear where the library pocket was glued. The cover is stained and edge worn, the spine is faded. Acceptable. Hardcover.
The district covered by this book, called rather arbitrarily Central Germany, represents a slice cut through the map from west to east. It starts at Cleve, on the Dutch border, and is closed on the east by the Elbe at Magdeburg and by the Saale at Naumburg and Merseburg. (#15)
