Item description
An 1863 Civil War Sheet Music Piece entitled; The Patriot Mother's Prayer "Protect My Boy." Written by J.P. Webster and Published by J.L. Peters of New York. This piece is commonly associated with the Union side of the Civil War and is in exceptionally fine condition, possibly due to spending most of its life protected within a bound volume of accumulated sheet music, as was a common practice during the late 19th century. There are no tears, stains, nor foxing present on any of the pages. There is a name written in pencil across the top of the front page. This piece may have also been trimmed about half an inch when it was previously bound, as it currently measures 13.5" x 10.5" instead of the standard 14" x 11". THE PRICE OF THIS ITEM HAS BEEN REDUCED TO HELP MY ELDERLY NEIGHBOR SAVE HER HOME AND STOP IT FROM BEING TAKEN AWAY FROM HER IN A FORECLOSURE SALE THIS MONTH!!!!
