This is an old $1 casino chip used at The HORSESHOE CASINO TUNICA, Mississippi developed by JACK BINION , son of Las Vegas gaming legend, BENNY BINION and named after his father's famous BINION HORSEHOW Downtown Gaming Hall and just like its namesake, The HORSESHOE TUNICA is known to cater to serious table game players and is known for its liberal, player-favorable rules and its comp policies.
It opened its doors 1995 as part of "CASINO CENTER" with 3 casinos side by side ( Circus Circus Tunica, now Gold Strike Resort; Sheraton Casino, now Tunica Roadhouse Casino.
Binion sold HORSESHOE GAMING HOLDING CORP,the Tunina property's corporate parent to HARRAHS ENTERTAINMENT in 2004.
