In the small upstate town where Linda Anthony lived, her conduct was revolutionary. When Dorine Dunne, the local gal who made Hollywood, came back to vacation in her home town, they turned out to welcome her. Dorine had not lost her feminimity by fame. But Linda upset all precedent. Because Linda was beating the men at their own game! Among the pleasant, gay people of Linda's set, she works out the problem of mixing business and love in a story that is swift and smart and yet touches very close to the heart. (#00002188)
