1968 Real Photo Postcard Ham Radio Oper Dan McGovern New Orleans Amateur Radio QSL WA5KIC 1968 Real Photo Postcard Ham Radio Oper Dan McGovern New Orleans WA5KIC Unfortunately the postage cancelation stamp runs through the top portion of the photo and over the man's face, which reads "ABCD Mail for Better Business Service" But the face is still fairly visible, along with the vintage ham radio equipment. I especially love this man's vintage clothes, and the fact that he is wearing a tie and jacket (don't see that much anymore). Although the style of the jacket has me wondering. This photo postcard would make a nice addition to any family ancestry collection, or McGovern Family ancestries research Along the side edge of the front is also printed his name and return address and the words: "Kissing is Contagious" with his Ham Radio Call letters ( WA5KIC ) in Red along the bottom. The white backside has the standard QSO information a mailing address and a pre-printed postage meter stamped postage dated Dec 2 1968 The handwritten date is Nov 26 1968 CONDITION: Very good condition. No pin holes, rips, tears or creases. Minor curling at the very tips of the corner edges, and some minor discoloration along the very edges from storage in a shoe box all these years, but over all nice condition. Some smudging on the front from the postal cancelation stamping.
