Item description
Worn by the team in 1959 and 1960, the Senator patch was designed by satirist Zang Auerback and was based on the "Mister Senator" character he had developed for his political cartoons. The caricature was a likeness of William Borah of Idaho, who served in the US Senate from 1907 - 1940.
Mint condition. Measures 12" x 9".
