Art For Your Head "Nouveau Riche" About the hat and neckwarmer: This hat is a freeform creation done with a combination of techniques.... felting (fulling) and needle felting. She is made from an incredibly soft blend of wool and alpaca in white and a very fine merino in black. She is simple but with much attitude! Striking in her black and white, she is reminiscent of a more refined time in history.... a bit deco, a bit nouveau.... she only awaits the woman with the right attitude. She is accented with a black lava bead and some beautiful black feathers. The neckwarmer has an inside button and looks totally appropriate over a sweater or blouse as well as under a winter coat. She is graceful, hand-formed... dramatic with much attitude. She is warm but lightweight, funky and elegant. The hat/wrap measures approx. 11.5" (29.2 cm) when laid flat. For reference only, the mannequin head is 21" (53.3 cm) in circumference. Both the hat/wrap and neckwarmer have some stretch to them due to their construction. Please take the time to measure your head by using a measuring tape around your crown, going around the largest part of your head, and your neck. The neckwarmer measures approx. 18" (45.7cm) when laid out. I use Priority Mail. Shipping price includes insurance.
