Art For Your Head "Rennie" About the Hat/Wrap: This hat/wrap is a creation done with a combination of techniques.... Needle felting, sewing and hand spinning. I handspun this yarn from some beautiful handdyed yarns combining merino wool and angora locks. This is a dramatic piece that can add just the right touch to your wardrobe. It is warm but light weight, funky but elegant. The base is an offwhite/cream wool felt accented with needle felting embellishment in a Deco, Arts Crafts style motif down in pales greens and deep browns. The inside of the hat/wrap is luxurious deep pile tapestry of coordinating color. The overall feel of this piece is very nouveau couture. The Lock Embellishment of this hat, i.e.; the handspun, is the kicker.... i've spun in dark brown, green and cream fiber and locks. The Lock Embellishment has a silver plate pinback and can be worn attached to the hat or as a neck collar, or even used as a fashion accessory for other items in your wardrobe. The hat/wrap measures approx. 11.5" when laid flat. For reference only, the mannequin head circumference is 21". It fits me perfectly (24" head circumference with hair). Please measure your head by using a measuring tape and going around your head where you would want this hat/wrap to sit. If there is a question... please ask first, before purchasing.
