Handmade Faith Like A Rock Hand Painted and 50 similar items

This is a beautifully toned and shaped Flat River Rock. Very clean. Featuring the message of Faith Like a Rock. On one side is Faith with picture of The Word as our Shield and Sword, with an open Bible with a shield and 2 swords behind it. One the other side is painted the scripture 2 Corinthians verse 5:7 written by the Apostle to the Gentiles, Paul: "For we walk by faith, not by sight". The rock is it's original lovely tan color, and it is very smooth on the front, with a slight small crease on the back. It is 4 1/2" wide x 3 1/4" tall and aprox. 1" thick. There are many stages to painting this rock. It is signed and dated by me. The stand is NOT included in the purchase, but you can buy a stand very cheap at any dept. store. This special OOAK rock will serve as a constant reminder that faith should be strong and solid like a rock, because our faith does not rest in what we can see, but what can't be seen, and what we know without seeing. The Word is our sword and shield that strengthens our faith and protects us in spiritual battles against our faith. Would make a great gift for someone who is in a spiritual battle or illness for a get well gift, or for a Baptism gift, or Pastor's appreciation gift or just for yourself as an encouragement. Can be displayed on a stand or used as a paper weight on a desk. My Son puts his rocks that I've painted for him, in his fish aquarium. However if you want your rock to last from now on, I wouldn't put it continuously in water because EVENTUALLY, long time exposure, would erode the coating and then the paint, I would think.
