NP95 This stunning antique illustrator postcard of the Lady Of The Mount Chapel at Kings Lynn with accompanying related smaller portraits of King Edward IV, it also shows pilgrims visiting Kings Lynn and the local antique Kings Lynn seal. It is from Victorian born historic art illustrator RP Phillimoredescribed as one of the greatest postcard artists of his time. It was published between110-120 years ago origin unused and outstanding condition (perhaps just a little lightly reverse aged but otherwise mint - a very rare card and you surely wont find better). RP Phillmore's postcards were notable for their distinctive sepia tone, delicate hand-coloring, and historical notes and have great unique character. I am proud to offer one of the greatest RP Phillimore collections of its kind and please see all his other postcards at my store.
