Item description
MARSHAL LAW Titles Lot (Epic-Dark Horse/2014)*Eight Comics in All!
*(Grade:NEAR MINT)
Marshal Law #2(vf),3,5,6*final issue
*Marshal Law, a sanctioned vigilante who hunts superheroes that have gone rogue; He is superhero himself, an ex-army supersoldier who is disillusioned about so called "superheroes"; He operates in the city of San Futuro, San Francisco after "The Big One"; He gets in to trail of a serial killer that murders strippers dressed as worlds most famous female superhero, Celeste.
Marshal Law-Secret Tribunal #1,2 *(of two)
*The League of Heroes, home of such ?illustrious? members as Biogram Girl, Public Spirit Jr., and Super-Sensitive Girl, is having auditions for new members. For Luminous Lad and Growing Boy to be accepted as members, they were required to spend a night aboard the quarantined ship, ?The Cape of Good Hope.? The pair accepted the challenge, only to discover that the ship was inhabited?by strange and deadly monsters called Incubi. The woefully-powered Luminous Lad emitted just one flicker of light before he was killed, and Growing Boy decided that running away was the better part of valor. ?Licensed vigilante? Marshal Law was sent in to save the day, along with a collection of misfits known as the secret tribunal. What follows is the equivalent to a teen summer-camp slasher film, with blithering teenage super-heroes as the campers, and Marshal Law as their erstwhile savior. Written by Pat Mills. Art and cover by Kevin O'Neil.
Marshal Law-Super Babylon (Prestige Format)
*Written by Pat Mills. Art and cover by Kevin O'Neill./ When you last saw Marshal Law, he had just put a gun to his head and pulled the trigger. Is that the end of the story? Not by a long shot! Creators Pat Mills and Kevin O'Neill are at Dark Horse now, and they're prepared to bring you more of the tender, moving stories you've come to expect from Marshal Law! Will Marshall Law and his dead girlfriend find happiness at last? Or will she prefer the Black Scarab, who brought the Golden Age Heroes back to life? The "City of Zombies" is classic romance as the living and the dead desperately try to find true love--if only they can keep the flies off long enough! 48 page
Crime and Punishment:Marshal Law Takes Manhattan (Prestige Format)
*Creators Pat Mills and Kevin O?Neill have crafted a truly disturbing one-shot that forces the reader to reestablish their view of the super-hero psyche. In this title, super-heroes whose powers have driven them insane are not tried for their crimes, but placed in ?The Institute,? an asylum where they receive immunity and, more importantly, are removed from the public eye.
In obvious, yet hilarious, parodies of Marvel Comic?s characters, psychological case studies are revealed through narration, shedding light on the dementia that would cause men to become costumed vigilantes. Marshal Law, the antithesis of the super-hero, hunts ?heroes,? but remarks he has yet to find any. He tracks the deranged killer, ?the Persecutor? to The Institute, where he is forced to reexamine what true valor means.
