Categories: Bag Puppets For sale is a brand new custom-made Professional Muppet Style "Monster Angel" Ventriloquist Bag Puppet (with actual light-up halo). Details on the item are: PUPPET: Monster Angel STYLE: Bag MATERIALS: The head construction is from 1/2" foam. The fabric is white. The wings are feathers SIZE: About 28 Inches Tall, measuring from the top of the head to the bottom of the body; 66" width from left hand to right hand FEATURES: It has two glove hands draping fabric to simulate a body. It has a battery-operated light-up halo (takes two AA batteries, not included). NOTES: This is a bag puppet, meaning there is no actual body but instead draping fabric (think 'Cookie Monster'-style). The two hands are made as gloves so you can put your hand into which ever side you wish. This is a 100% custom made puppet that took approximately 10-12 hours to design and build. The halo is not a perfect circle (I tried! It didn't want to mold perfectly), so please see pictures to understand how it looks. There is white electrical tape wrapped around the fairy light wire and the metal bar attached to the halo; I very much wanted to hide this better but in order to keep everything in place, this is how I had to do it). ABOUT ME: I'm a storyteller for a library system in Kansas City and began making puppets as props for my outreach visits. As I challenged myself with each new creation, testing new techniques and seeing what I could do, I found myself swamped with puppets! So now I offer them here and locally at craft shows. I've been making puppets professionally for 10+ years, designing building them from scratch.
