Amethyst New with tag. These are lovely artisan crafted earrings. The stones are real amethyst, and the settings are genuine sterling silver, stamped 925. Each purple amethyst in this pair of earrings is an11X9mm oval cabochon cut stone, and together, the stones add up to 7cts. As with many natural gemstones, these amethysts may have some inclusions. The amethysts are bezel set and the sterling silver setting forms an open work design of leaf-like swirls. These earring measure 1.25 inches wide, and 1.25 inches in length. They close with a snap closure, and the open area for the ear lobe is just over 1/2 inch. These are very pretty amethyst earrings and they are designed for pierced ears.
