Taxco TB‑28 Sterling Silver Modernist and similar items

This is a sleek modernist sterling silver cuff bracelet from Taxco, Mexico, crafted in a bold openwork design typical of late?20th?century Taxco silversmithing. The cuff is stamped TB?28, .925, and Sterling, indicating a registered Taxco artisan workshop. The design features wide, sculptural cut?out slits and a curved, dimensional shape that wraps beautifully around the wrist. It has the clean, architectural look associated with modernist Taxco silver from the 1970s?1980s. The cuff measures approximately 7" around including the gap but is slightly adjustable without damaging the cuff. The front width is about 1?3/4" at the center, tapering to 1/4" at the ends. It weighs 33.3 grams of solid sterling silver (tested). Excellent vintage condition with only light surface scratches from gentle wear. A striking, sculptural piece that looks fantastic on the wrist.
