1997 United Cutlery Gil Hibben Hornet fantasy dagger (UC985), factory blemished second ? complete with original tooled leather sheath and 1997 Edition box. Approximately 15.63" overall length, 8.75" double-edged stainless steel blade.
Specs:
- Blade: Stainless steel (420 J2), double-edged, tapered point; etched "Designed by Gil Hibben / Hibben Knives" on ricasso
- Guard pommel: Chrome-plated cast metal, multi-prong fantasy guard design
- Handle: Stacked alternating oak/mahogany wood with brass spacer rings, chrome bolsters
- Model: UC985 / UC9852 (blemished variant), made in Taiwan
- Includes: Knife, original brown tooled leather sheath (Hibben Hornet design, snap buttons, belt loop), and original 1997 Edition box
- Run: Limited production; box states original design by Gil Hibben and Paul Ehlers
